Frequently Asked Questions ...

Question:

What types of things should be looked at when doing a home inspection ?

Answer:

One of the most important tasks when buying or selling a home is to have the property professionally inspected.  You should always make your offer contingent upon the results of professional inspections.  Professional inspections can uncover areas of the house that need attention and can be taken care of before you sell or purchase a property.  If something comes up that is serious, you can then have an “out” with your contingency.

We offer you pre-inspection checklists for your use when you are looking to buy or sell a home.  This checklists should not be used by you as a replacement for a professional inspection, however they may help you understand and uncover areas that may be or may become concerns for you.  Below is a checklist for Exterior inspection items of a home.  Click here for an Interior checklist.
